چکیده
The paper aims to analyze the effects of various Prandtl number and different nanoparticles for heat transfer entropy generation free convection laminar fluid flow in an L-shaped cavity filled by nanofluid. To investigate second law characteristics convective from L- shaped geometry water nanofluids (Cu-water, Ag-water, Al2O3-water), on average Nusselt number, total Bejan has been numerically analyzed. Isotherms, stream function caused are also presented numbers nanoparticles. governing equations solved using penalty finite element method with Galerkins weighted residual technique. results reveal that Ag-water nanofluid highest gives amount irreversibility as well rate transfer. Cu-water produces more irreversibilities than Al2O3-water base fluid. Also show increase number. Therefore, may be important parameter desired increment decreasing given geometry.

The buoyancy-driven fluid flow and heat transfer in a square cavity with partially active side walls filled with Cu-water nanofluid is investigated numerically. The active parts of the left and the right side-walls of the cavity are maintained at temperatures Th and Tc, respectively, with Th>Tc. The enclosure’s top and bottom walls, as well as, the inactive parts of its side walls are kept insu...

Steady state natural convection of Al2O3-water nanofluid inside a square cavity filled with a porous medium is investigated numerically. The temperatures of the two side walls of the cavity are maintained at TH and TC, where TC has been considered as the reference condition. The top and the bottom horizontal walls have been considered to be insulated i.e., non-conducting and impermeable to mass...

The problem of conjugate free convection in a square cavity filled with nanofluid and heated from below by spatial wall temperature is studied numerically using the finite difference method. Water-based nanofluid with copper nanoparticles are chosen for the investigation. Governing equations are solved over a wide range of nanoparticle volume fraction (0 ≤ φ ≤ 0.2), wave number ((0 ≤ λ ≤ 4) and...
